Zion Clark graduated from Washington High School here in Massillon, Ohio in 2016. He bridged the time between our two sons at Washington and we watched him in the marching band and choir over a couple of years.
He was also a standout wrestler at Washington, despite being born without legs, compiling a 33-15 record his senior year while wrestling against young men who often outweighed him by 15 or more pounds.
Zion now wrestles for Kent State at their Tuscarawas campus.
Yesterday, I learned that a documentary about Zion that was screened at several festivals, including Sundance, is coming to Netflix in August.
And think twice before making any excuses.
