For more than two decades I've unlocked the greatness held in people and process for companies ranging from a privately owned startup to a Fortune 100 company, and one of the Midwest's largest banks.  As a Senior Project Manager at CrossCountry Mortgage, Inc., my current assignment is establishing a controlling Project Management Office and leading the transition from functional to a balanced-matrix organizational structure.  At Huntington National Bank (fka FirstMerit Bank, NA), I  managed the booking and servicing of the bank's multi-billion dollar portfolio of consumer, bankcard, commercial, and specialty loans- including syndications, asset based lending, sponsor finance, and capital market relationships. I also lead the teams that set up the Bank's new mortgage loans, serviced its portfolio of special mortgage loans, and reported to FNMA, GNMA, FHLMC, and other investors.

When not managing a functional area, I was the operational lead of the Citizens Republic Bancorp integration for the FirstMerit Loan Servicing Group, encompassing all of consumer and commercial loan operations, specialty lending, dealer services, and mortgage servicing operations.  For integration, I developed integration plans, and post-integration operating models, processes, and work flows. The integration increased total bank assets from $14B to $24B and Loan Servicing by more than 50%, from approximately $9B to $14B.  When Hintington acquired FirstMerit, I again worked on the integration effort, this time from the side of the acquired organization.

Prior to joining FirstMerit as a Banker in 2008, I tripled recoveries while cutting legal expenses by 66% as Operations Manager of Recovery Management Systems in Massillon, Ohio.  A recognized voice in collections, I've presented on collections and recovery related topics.

In the community I've served on the Planning Commission for the City of Massillon as well as two terms as an at-large elected member of City Council.  On Council, I served on the Community Development and Finance Committees and chaired the Environmental Committee.  In 2013 I was chosen as one of Stark County's Twenty Under 40 by yStark!.

I hold a B.A. in Organizational Management from Malone University in Canton, Ohio and an M.B.A., concentrated in Finance, from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio.  I am a member of the Delta Mu Delta business honor society and certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
